Peach and Pancetta Pizza Recipe and Floral Napa Wine Aprons

Peach and Pancetta Pizza recipe.

The way I came up with this recipe is by combining my favorite late summer flavors, and because I really wanted to go to wine country for Labor Day weekend but everything was booked.  Instead of getting upset about it, I decided to pair my own unique wine country flavors with wines and have my own mini vacation like I was in wine country, but at my apartment.  The white peach flesh and pancetta pizza came out perfect and I’ll include some options for you to make it so that you will love it and add your own twist.

What you need to make a white peach and pancetta pizza recipe.

  • Fresh whole wheat pizza dough
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Boars head or other diced pancetta
  • 1 or 2 large white flesh peaches
  • California figs
  • Balsamic glaze (raspberry, apple, cantalope or your other favorite citrus)
  • 1 large ball of sliced buffalo mozzerella
  • Parmesan or asiago cheese shreds

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and then start rolling out your whole wheat pizza dough to the size you want it.  Take two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and pour it into the middle of the crust.  Now throw on a pinch of sea salt and a pinch of ground black pepper and push the liquid to the edges of the crust.  Now take about 4 tablespoons of your favorite sweet balsamic glaze and pour it into the center of the crust.  Rub it around the crust so that it comes almost to the edges.  If you need more than 4 tablespoons, feel free to add it on.  Now take your sliced buffalo mozzarella and lay it out across the pizza in slices.  Next take your white peaches and slice them in half so you can take the pit out.  Take each half and cut it into thin slices.  Now cut your California figs into quarters or into eigths and place them around the pizza on top of the mozzarella slices.  The last step is to take the diced pancetta and toss it over the pizza and then sprinkle the cheese shreds and place the pizza in the oven for about 15 minutes.  Once everything is melted you can turn your oven to broil and move the pizza to the top rack to brown the cheese.  Slice the pizza and let it cool.  Now serve it and enjoy with your favorite wine or if you are serving it to people under 21, try it with juice.  Thank you again for reading and please shop through the links without using a coupon to help support the blog and also feel free to leave a comment or share this post on pinterest, facebook or your other favorite social site.
