Chocolate, Strawberry and Whipped Cream Cup Recipe

The first thing you’ll want to do is to gather all of your ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers or spring roll wraps (two won ton wrappers equals one spring roll wrap.)
  • Whipping cream or your favorite whipped topping
  • Chocolate chips
  • 1 or two pints of Strawberries
  • 1 seedless orange or lemon
  • Non stick cooking spray
  • A muffin tin

Instructions

First preheat your oven to 350 degrees.  Now take your muffin tin and spray the inside of it so that nothing sticks.  Next you’ll want to take your first wonton and line it inside so that the top is over the edge.  Take a second wonton and wet the back of it with water so that it sticks to the first and then lay it in the muffin tin so that you have the entire inside covered and it looks like a cup shape.

If you aren’t whipping your own cream, start dicing strawberries and place them in a small bowl.  Once you have about half of them chopped up, squeeze the orange or lemon juice over the strawberries.

Last, you’ll want to slice the strawberries in half so you can lay one on top.  Now your edible cups should be coming out of the oven and look like the pictures below.

Now that they are done, let them sit for a few minutes.  Once they have rested, place them on a microwavable safe plate and pour in some chocolate chips.

Next place this in the microwave until the chocolate chips get shiney.  Once they do, use something to spread them down so they fill the inside of the bottom of the cup.

Let this cool so the chocolate hardens a bit.  Once it does, move them to the serving dishes or plates and spoon in some of the diced strawberries. Now add the whipped topping or whipped cream to them and the final strawberry half or slices on top.  If you really want to make it fun, add a couple small chocolate chips to it as well so people know there is a chocolate surprise at the bottom.  Now there’s one more very, very important thing to do.
